Pass Plus teaches you to drive safely in difficult driving situations
Pass Plus goes beyond practical driving lessons to assess your ability in difficult and hazardous situations. You'll become a safer, more confident driver.
Many students opt to take the Pass Plus driving course in addition to their practical driving test. Taking Pass Plus course assesses your ability to drive in difficult or adverse conditions, including:
- in town
- in all weathers
- on country roads
- at night
- on dual carriageways
- on motorways
Driving in these conditions can be challenging and requires more focus and awareness, so having an instructor’s support and tuition can be extremely beneficial.
Taking the Pass Plus driving course often reduces your insurance premium, as insurance companies can see that you’re dedicated to driving safely.
The course is 6 hours long, and you’ll need to reach the required standard in each module in order to pass. The course is intended to be mostly practical, but obviously your local conditions will affect this – you can’t practise driving in the rain in the summer sun, for example!
